Apparitions Reading is Here!!!

The reading for Apparitions is up and running! dun dun dun! The scene I'm reading in it matches the trailer - so if you listen and then watch the scenes click together nicely.

Two warnings though!!!

This reading streams so when you click it will PLAY! So if you're at work make sure the boss isn't lurking around!

Also, I sound like a dork. But if you manage to get past that the scenes being read are neat :)

So if you're brave...click here: Listen

I heartily recommend braving it and listening. It's a really neat scene too.

And Raven just sounds awesome, despite her own colored view...

You don't know me, but I've checked out your sight from the Michigan Horrors link in the e-mail. I noticed that you've chosen Archebooks for publication. On Archebook's sight they state an agent is needed for publication. I've been writing for about ten years or more and have tried the agenting route, to no avail, three hundred plus rejection letters. Do you have an agent? If so, maybe we could chat sometime. My website is http://www.timeagle.com and you can shoot me an email from there or the Michigan Horror's sight. I know that there has to be something else to drive the writing market in Michigan, but haven't found it yet, as I'm sure most authors haven't. Thanks for your time. Looking foward to hearing from you.

Hi Tim!

The publishing field is a tough market...that's for sure. It's an entirely different ballgame than most career paths - as I'm sure you know.

The agent thing - honestly I'm not surprised. I'm 50/50 when it comes to agents. They have their good points for certain but they also have drawbacks. Most notably the one you're experiencing.

Don't let not having an agent keep you from approaching publishers though. If you have a dream go for it, no matter what.

Catch you on email!
