Spring!

If you're following the route for the Romance Writers Behaving Badly tour you should have landed here after visiting Mary Quast's blog. If you haven't been there - please drop by blog and post as well.

Anyway welcome to the Hollow! It's almost March and I'm betting most of us are tired of winter's cold clutches. Never fear - spring is near and with it blooms hope and new beginnings! It's a great time for renewing and creating bonds...and for picnics!

For the sake of fun this spring why not shake up the traditional idea of picnic?

Whoever said they had to happen in the day? What about night...in front of a low blazing fire. We'll skip the traditional sandwiches and crackers and cheese and instead since we're not dealing with the melting effects of the sun - chocolate! Yes! Dark chocolate, milk chocolate...chocolate covered strawberries and oh chocolate body paint!

Of course there must be wine - red would be best suited for chocolate and the night.

Mmm and what to wear...why that little black dress or that scorching red one of course!

Cheers to all of you and have a most wonderful 2010...shake it up!

Please post below with your ideas and additions or brand new thoughts on shaking up a romantic picnic for your chance to win prizes!

I love the idea of a night picnic!!
That sounds like it would be very sensual. Of course, the chocolate is a must :) A night picnic you could forget about the blah weather outside your domain. I think some classical music, alot of it is very sensual!!

I love picnics---but a picnic by the fire deserves naughty lingerie and champagne go along with the chocolate and strawberries.

Hey Raven,
I'm having a blast browsing through the various blogs...

For a picnic, you can't go wrong with a simple strawberry shortcake drizzled with a bit of dark chocolate...

Well, looks like everything I need would be there. Chocolate, wine, music, either no underwear or lingerie. Sounds about right for a fabulous night.

I've never been on a picnic, but the hubbie and I used to go camping before the cancer took him. We never went to one of those formal camping grounds. We'd find an isolated spot along a river and spend a few days away from the rest of the world.

I've tried all sorts of chocolate body paints, and none of them taste enough like chocolate. We heat up melting chocolate and wait for it to cool a little. And in a pinch, there's always Hersey's syrup.
